Engraver II is a plug-in filter for
Adobe Photoshop
and compatibles (Including CS3/CS4). This plug-in enables you to make
stylized photographs or images to look like beautiful vintage
engravings and allows you to create fascinating digital art
effortlessly. Engraver cuts through images with thin lines forming a
geometric pattern. The thickness of these lines will change depending
on the image beneath.
Engraver II makes it possible to display an image as a stylized
black-and-white or color print. Enjoy a wide selection of geometric
patterns and variety of lines for your illustrations as well as
creating fringe patterns by overlapping layers. To achieve the right
thickness of lines, correct spacing, pattern displacement and degree of
relief, simply adjust the plug-in controls. Adjusting and fine tuning
in Engraver II is very easy, and it creates realistic and convincing
effects.
Features of Engraver II:

Engraver II, takes advantage of the latest multi-core CPUs to
add powerful new features and improved drawing quality. Many of the
changes in Engraver II are a direct result of feedback from our users,
including the addition of support for Photoshop CS3/CS4 and later for
Mac users.
Engraver II is professional tool that allows users to work on
high-resolution CMYK and RGB images. It also can be used on 16-bit (per
channel) photos.
A great new time saver added in Engraver II is the ability to limit the
preview to the selected area. Previously it was necessary to wait for
an entire drawing to be rendered, even if only a small part of the
drawing was going to have a particular pattern applied it.
Another new feature, "Fill alpha”, simplifies production of multi-layer
compositions and reduces confusion that some novice users experienced
with previous versions of Engraver when working with alpha channels.
Engraving curves now can be blurred to simulate the way ink spreads on paper in real engravings.
Engraver II is not limited to digital image processing. It can
be used in fields such as preparing graphic for burning on wood,
serigraphy, or screen-printing. Engraver II can prepare solid color
results without the use of halftones.
Engraver II now offers a new streamlined common User Interface
on both Windows and Macintosh versions. Specifically, the list of
parameters presets is now always visible in Engraver's dialog.
